Oh, how I love this family. Yes, a lot of my clients are also friends and family - but that makes sessions so much fun! I love how comfortable and relaxed these kind of sessions are, and the genuine smiles I get because of it. This mama is a former co-worker of mine, who I am lucky to call a friend as well. We meet regularly for lunch, our kids have playdates, and like I said I just love this family! They recently moved into a beautiful new home, with the most amazing scenery right in their backyard. It was perfect for family photos! We had such a fun afternoon at their session, wandering around this gorgeous wooded area.

Little baby Logan...what a sweetheart! I shot him as a newborn, and it was one of my favorite sessions of all time. I came back when he was 3 months old, and he had gotten even cuter! He wasn't thrilled with the idea of posing for pictures this day, but you can't even tell in the photos - he is just precious! I've photographed his big brother a number of times as well, and the two of them together is just priceless. These are 2 handsome boys!! Just maxin & relaxin, like babies do... Look at those handsome brothers! Logan looks SO MUCH like his big brother did as a baby! I cannot wait to continue to watch these boys grow up in front of my camera! :)
Here's another family I've had the pleasure of photographing several years in a row now. It is just my favorite to watch little ones grow up through my lens , and this girl is no exception! I still remember the first session I had with these guys, maybe 3 years ago, and she had me laughing the whole time. She was one of the most outgoing little girls I had ever photographed, and such a little diva. That has only increased over the years, and she continues to be one of my favorite kiddos - so much personality, this one!! See that little bit of sass coming through?? Mini-diva. :) How sweet is this?! She got into this pose all by herself, no direction needed. Love it!
Next up, is a family very near and dear to me. They happen to be related to me, so I'm a little biased, but they are some of my favorite people to photograph! They were also some of the first people I photographed when I first started this journey, so I'm incredibly thankful they've let me practice and grow my talent with them as guinea pigs. :) This was their annual family photo session, with a little something extra! I have been photographing this girl since she was born. She's SIX now. Holy cow! I love watching her grow as her aunt, but I've also loved watching her grow up in front of my camera! And the something extra: I think this was the first pregnancy announcement I've had the pleasure of shooting, and it was so special to get to document this! It is also pretty exciting that my own little family is growing by one, also in March of 2016. We are so excited to be adding 2 more kiddos to our family, and to have cousins so close in age! And if you can't tell by this photo, this girl is pretty darn excited to be a big sister. :)
